OK, you've read enough and now you want to become a follower of the Volcano God. Is there some initiation process that must be observed? Some mysterious ritual to be performed? Nope.

All you have to do to become a member of the Church of the Volcano God is become a member of the Church of the Volcano God; observe our rites and rituals, try to live a good and happy life, live in accordance with normal, universal morals, accept the guidance of the Six-or-Eight Suggestions, and have a ball. That's it; no blood sacrifice, no pledging your eternal soul or first-born child, no begging forgiveness for your multitudes of 'sins'. Easy-peasy.

You can download the attached .pdf file for a picture of the Wise and Mighty Volcano God so you can start building your shrine. If you are a craftsperson, feel free to create a painting, drawing, or sculpture of the Volcano God based on the artwork from this website.

We'd appreciate it if you let us know who you are and where you're practicing, but it's not required. We'd also appreciate you keeping in touch with other members and the High Priest; let us know how you're doing, inform us as to any customization you may have made to the rituals, etc. But again, it's not a requirement. The Volcano God makes no demands on his followers.

You are also free to recruit others into the church if you choose. It might make the Weekly Worship a little more fun. Again, it's not a requirement; we're not Mormons.
